The Husky Athletic Booster Club is proud to offer two $1,000 scholarships annually. These awards honor one male student-athele (The Ken Fitzsimmons Award) and one female student-athlete (The Kathleen Varner Award) who represent the very best of Heritage High School.
Supporting Your Next Chapter
The HABC Scholarship is here to recognize athletic achievement, promote good sportsmanship, encourage scholastic achievement among all athletes at Heritage High School and to assist with the costs of a higher education.
Before you apply, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:
- HHS Senior: Must be in the Class of 2026
- Athletic Participation: Must have played at least two full years of inter-school athletics, one being during your senior year
- Future Enrollment: Must have an active application or acceptance to a college, university, or trade school
- HABC Membership: Both the student-athlete and their parent/guardian must be paid members of the Booster Club at the time of application
- Compliance: All awards are subject to NCAA rules and regulations
Submission Deadline: May 8, 2026
Please follow these steps to ensure your application is processed:

- Format: Save the document as a PDF
- Complete: Fill out all sections of the application and include the required signatures
- Submit: Email your completed form as an attachment to heritageathleticboosterpres@gmail.com
Your application requires two separate recommendations: one from an HHS Coach and one from an HHS Teacher.
- Requirements: Your coach and teacher must be two different individuals
- Submission: Recommenders must email their completed forms directly to heritageathleticboosterpres@gmail.com from their professional or personal email account
- Policy: We cannot accept recommendation forms submitted by the student-athlete. They must come directly from the staff member
